LONDON — Patricia Nash has received more than $4.5 million in gifts in her eight years at Manchester United, according to figures released by the club today.
The England striker’s first year in English football has been marred by injuries and suspensions, and she was released in October.
Nash was released from a Manchester United training facility on August 1.
She was subsequently traded to West Ham, who she spent the majority of the season with before being released.
She returned to the club in February and played the final two games of the campaign, scoring three goals and providing three assists in the Premier League.
She was released after three months in January.
She joined the US in August.
The 25-year-old played a key role in the United States’ 2014 World Cup victory over Germany.
